Texas and Texas A&M will also renew their rivalry next season after a 12-year hiatus. The game will be played Saturday, Nov. 30, in College Station to close the regular season, according to sources. Traditionally, Texas and Texas A&M have always played on either Thanksgiving Day or the Friday after Thanksgiving.
SEC values the Egg Bowl over the A&M v. Texas game.
Leaving the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving and relegating that other 2nd tier regional rivalry to Saturday

Egg Bowl stays on thanksgiving, Texas schools can play in the Big 12

Alabama's close to the season will be especially challenging. The Crimson Tide play at LSU on Nov. 9, at Oklahoma on Nov. 23 and then come back home to face rival Auburn on Nov. 30 in the Iron Bowl.
Holy shite...

Enjoy it folks because that will be the last year for many games that are traditionally on the schedule.
The SEC as we knew it, especially the SEC that us older folks knew, is dead.
I know money and power rules all but give me the days of the SEC champion (no SEC title game) going to the Sugar Bowl, the Big 8 champ going to the Orange, The southwest conference champ in the Cotton all versus at large teams and the B1G vs the Pac TEN champ in the rose. On New years day the number 6 team could end up being national champs.

A 2 loss team in conf will be at the top. It will be different and a loss in conf won’t kill your team like now. Hope they have tie breakers set up really well defined.
OU plays 6 of 8 currently ranked teams next year:

Tejas gets road games against two worst teams in the league Arkansas, Vandy and a 3rd road at a neutral site. bullshite. They are already getting favors.

In key matchups, Oklahoma vs @LSU is not listed. Does that mean LSU’s not playing them?

A November to remember for the Crimson Tide. Or maybe not. Tuff row to hoe with LSU, Oklahoma and Auburn. I’m looking forward to it! RTR
