It just absolutely grinds my gears

That Missouri is ranked ahead of us. Getting punished for scheduling Florida State week 1 instead of South Dakota on top of beating Mizzou at their house. I know they are 10-2 but I cannot stand it.

We should not have lost to Ole Miss, makes me so damn mad. We would be going to Atlanta or Phoenix.

And anyway, rankings aren't solely based on head-to-head matchups - it's a body of work. And Mizzou only has 2 losses, very close ones to us and to UGA on the road.

LSU needed one defensive stop vs Ole Miss and 2 stops vs Alabama to win those games but House was taking a nap.

I agree it does kinda get to me as well. Not really their ranking, but they only talk about the UGA loss. Like watching that video where they said that Mizzou was the best tigers in the SEC. Even during the games they talk about how great Mizzou is like if it wasn't for that UGA loss they would be right up there in the hunt.
Meanwhile I'm sitting there thinking... did I imagine that we beat them? It's almost like they threw that whole game down the memory hole.

If you are not in the top 4 does it really matter? Plus they have 2 losses, we have 3. Now next year being in the top 12 will be important, but
