They generally rawdog Bama in every big game, and give lesser opponents the benefit of the doubt more often than not.
You’ll hear a lot of claims of “Bama bias” any time a call goes our way, but statistically, our opponents are the least penalized teams in the country every single year. It’s been that way for over a decade.
Bama’s opponents, for example, are called for holding at a rate 250% less than the national average, despite having one of the best pass rushes in the country every year. We just aren’t gonna get those calls.
