Etienne is an amazing player. I would really hate to lose him. But I think there are a lot of RB's who could succeed in our system. I don't think he meaningfully changes our trajectory next year. He has flaws such as an inability to pass block. Someone like EWIII transferring would be much worse in my opinion.

Shemar on the other hand is the most important player on defense. Losing him cost us games at the end of the season. Losing him to the portal without any potential replacements would pretty much ruin any optimism I had going into next year.
