We haven’t officially played in a “major bowl” since 1969
I know we had teams more deserving of that honor (2007, 2013) but dumb BCS rules kept them out.
If this holds up and we stay top 10 and get a NY6 bowl, it’d be so awesome and unexpected. Really big deal for Mizzou

That’s not true. We were in the Cotton twice recently and the Liberty Bowl.
