So they are punishing Yuracheck for screwing up the buyout?

I got them going 4-8 next year.

But they could drop a game to UAB and knowing that Sam has struggled getting his team prepared for these types of games.

I was at the game. Augustave and Johnson put in more effort than the rest.

Augustave looks like an NFL back in the mold of a Tony Pollard. He's built just like him.

Everyone else on the roster does not look at all nfl ready, including a bloated, overweight, and injured Rocket.

Whoever told him to gain all that weight was a moron. If he's even healthy enough to participate at the combine, I bet he comes in around 225-ish, which is where he should have been all year... Not fricking 242, which is what he's listed at.

He must be able to exit gracefully into retirement because he loves Arkansas. And he’s a likable guy. If that means burning another season it looks like that is what the admin is prepared to do.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play Friday. I was impressed by his running Saturday. Not a lot of dancing, hitting the hole and got up to speed quickly.

The real question is does Rocket go pro, come back or transfer?

He didn’t have much film and that’s a second injury. So you need to go pro and just get paid but also your last year you’ve been injured.

Probably a good chance Rocket and KJ both transfer.

I suspect 10-15 players to enter the portal soon, maybe more.

I said it before and I'll say it again, unless KJ is transferring to become a TE at another school he'd be a fool to turn down his guaranteed money from Arkansas.

We brought in one of the best QB developers in the country and KJ took several steps back. He may prove me wrong, and I hope he does, but he doesn't project well at the next level as a QB. So unless he's going all in on being a TE take the million dollars NIL from Arkansas.

Now before people just get the vapors and start having hissy fits... I didn't say it was the best thing for the program. I didn't say we might get a more effective QB out of it. I didn't even say KJ is a bum. I just said, if I was his financial advisor, I'd stick with Arkansas unless I get a sweet offer somewhere else or he decides to go the TE route.

Enos just got lucky with all those other QB's that actually threw successfully in his offense. KJ's not to blame even though he's the only QB to ever struggle this much under Enos.

Am I doing it right?

His offense? Hell, he had Brandon Allen. Who else lit it up?

Seems odd to call a guy that's been twice fired in less than a year one of the best qb developers. Nah I don't think you're doing it right.

Tua's brother at Maryland was throwing for 4,000 yards a season under him before he came here. His offense in MARYLAND was literally keeping pace with Briles' here in 2021.

It's lazy criticism by fans to blame Enos. Just like all the "wE nEeD tO gO bAcK tO oNe ReAd RpOs!" complaints even though we never even stopped running them. It's beyond obvious the problems go much deeper.

This isn't even true

Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

That offense relied so heavily on passing because they couldn't run the ball (sound familiar?).

No, they weren't keeping pace with Briles offense, despite playing a much weaker schedule.

Tua's brother never passed for more than 4k yds. Last year was actually around 3k.

Thank God for the internet.

Maryland's offense outperformed us by almost every offensive metric except rushing yards per game in 2021. Lil bro Tua threw for 3860 yards (sorry not quite 4,000, how embarrassing for him)

Keep in mind this was a program that hadn't even been to a bowl since 2016. They averaged over 100 yards per game on the ground and 300 through the air. They set a school record for passing yards in a season, then broke the school record for most points in a bowl game by scoring 53 in a win that year. All of this in year 1 under Enos. Sound familiar?

Something KJ has never done. Even if you want to remove the comparison of the two offenses completely, all you have to do is look at our stats from our most successful season with KJ.

He also had tied a school record 26 tds and a 69% completion rating.

He is a good OC but he couldn't run his offense with these players that weren't a fit.

I think the players on offense got frustrated with him and began to protest. Sam had to make a move or lose the team.

Sam made a bad hire and should have hired an OC that was a better fit for the needs of his offense.

This is where I disagree. I think you stop forcing the guy that can't play QB into the QB position and let the guy you hired develop someone who can.

Them maybe both of them should have told K.J that he needed to explore more opportunities and get a quarterback from the portal that can run his offense?

Instead of trying to force K.J into an offense that isn't suited to his strengths.
