I can see all that happening, but I’ll still be predicting 3-4 wins next year. He isn’t a head coach. He has no killer in him.

If that rumor is true, a couple of things…

Sam has always been a hell of a recruiter and that’s a legit pitch he gave to save his arse. So A+ to him on that idea.

We are stuck with Pittman for another year…no qualms about it. So let’s see what these money guys bring to the table. Let’s see what we can land if we are fully in the game. Coaching blunders still happened in the 9 win season a couple years ago.

So I guess my take is this…the dude is here, he’s going to be here, so let’s see what kind of money we actually throw around and see what kind of team we can get out of it.

If nothing else, it squarely puts us entering the game of legit NIL dealings.

Completely in. Just play up the IDGAF attitude.

There has to be a don’t touch him with a 10 ft pole by Sankey and the SEC though.

Art was cleared of any wrongdoing 2 yrs ago after a major investigative piece came out on the Baylor program.

If Art came in, eveyone in the league would shite their pants. That's what you want. Someone who puts fear in DCs.

I’ll up my donation and buy more seats tomorrow, if we were to bring in Briles. That’s your grand slam right there.

I could pony up the funds for diapers if he could score inside the 20’s.

I’m curious about these better players we would get. OL, WR? LB’s and DB’s have produced

You get a badass O-line and the rest takes care of itself. Add one STUD receiver. We have the backs.

Do we though? Sanders is a shell of himself and Green and Dubinion have been underwhelming. Johnson probably transfers.

Augustave last week looked better than most of our backs have all year.

1,000. Time to move on from all the older RBs we have. Let the young dogs eat.

I don't understand the reason to do this now. Why not save up money this year for a new coach and NIL for the 2025-26 season. It just seems like a huge waste of money and a bigger gamble than it would be to fire Pittman.

Maybe coaches are starting to ask for NIL money along with their salary? If Sam stays, it makes more sense to me to just pay the bare minimum at this point, fire sam next year and go all out for NIL and coaching staff next off-season.

Ticket sales are going to be terrible as it is now so I have no idea what they're trying to do. The only thing I've heard so far that makes sense is boosters don't want to pay for the buyout to spite HY.
