I don't think anyone will argue this after this weekend. My man still made one of the worst rookie mistakes in CFB

I think Jalen is playing well, but I'm going to be skeptical until we play UGA. How will he respond to the best defense he has seen this season? If he rises to the occasion, I'm not worried about any team we see in the CFB Playoffs. If he regresses, then he shows that he still needs further development. The most important thing that I personally want to see is sustained consistency. Consistency to not back down / regress against high level competition. Hopefully he shows that

It's no secret the team started to get better once Jalen settled in.

Tommy Rees should get a ton of credit for the way he approached Jalen and told him to identify the things he was uncomfortable running and subsequently tossed that shite in the dumpster.

Seeing a young coach and a young player figure stuff out together like that makes me smile.

I was watching that Washington Utah game with my cousin when that LBer dropped the ball like 3 yards before the endzone, and I said to him something along the lines of "think about how Saban would react if a Bama player did that." Welp

Statistically he has already played the best defense he will see. Believe it or not, A&M’s defense is or was on par with Georgia’s.
