...and became the 19th college football program to do so.

Current (and future) SEC teams with 800+ wins and their current all time wins ranking nationally:

3) Alabama - 963 wins
4) Texas - 946 wins
6) Oklahoma - 943 wins
11) Georgia - 879 wins
T13) Tennessee - 874 wins
17) LSU - 841 wins
T18) Auburn - 800 wins

The main takeaway I get from this is just how damaging the last 15 years have been to Tennessee and how high they must have been in these rankings prior to that.

Just imagine, kids these days think they are a washed up “underdog” program. It’s like their blue blood status was wiped from history.

Ole Miss would have 1000 wins with Michigan's schedule.

USC has had a similar fate as we passed them last year, too.

We will likely pass Nebraska in about 5 years, doubtful we catch Penn State anytime soon

The ranking list I used included all levels of college football and there were 2 of those schools with win totals in the high 800s. There was a 3rd team in the Top 20 all time...Wittenberg College also won their 800th game this past Saturday

You're right though. UGA is 9th all time in wins when ranking FBS schools only. You're a win off on your total wins though. UGA has 879 wins, not 878
