GMAC: Billy, when you look at A&M and their expectations, how realistic are they right now? I'm from Texas and they were always the second best team in my lifetime to the Longhorns. They've always been number 2 and that's not gonna change with Texas coming to the SEC, so what do they really expect?

Liucci: Is Auburn always no. 2 to Bama?

GMAC: Yes.

This is false. They are currently 3 or 4.

He was born in 1988. In that year, A&M won their 5th straight against Texas. Since that streak started, A&M has a winning record against them.

Birmingham is lucky to have McElroy and Cubelic on WJOX. Even mid June they’re talking college football.

Bama could only wish they had the kind of dominance over Auburn that Texas has had over A&M, but they don’t.

I mean, of course Auburn is no 2 to Bama. Hell, every other college football program in the country is behind Bama.

At least Auburn has had some success in my lifetime. They can put a run together and win at least a division and conference every now and then. Aggy? One 10 win season since the turn of the century in 2012. And that wasn't even enough to win their division.
