I think it is safe to say that most fans questioned his upside. I think it is also safe to say he has pleasantly surprised most of us. The difference is, questioning vs saying he sucks.

What I saw in the Spring Game (blah blah Spring Game) was a QB in charge of the offense and ran it quite well. He threw really good passes and was CLEARLY the best QB that day. I was cautiously optimistic. I do feel he had to shake off the early season jitters but he improved each week. That 2nd half @ AU was the turning point or the “light”. He hasn’t looked back since and there’s not a single team in CFB that’s gonna stop him. He’s an NFL QB. Potential high pick at that. People will soon understand.
