Bama fans here and on Twitter were totally fine with the idea that the point of Turner's hit was to knock Daniels out of the game. "By any means necessary" sums up the attitude of a large portion of the Bama fanbase (which I have the unfortunate burden of having to deal with every day).
Daniels showed last night exactly why they were scared of him. He already had 382 yards in 3 quarters on the vaunted Bama defense when he was taken out of the game (219 passing, 163 rushing).
