Could Elko get kingsbury back?

I’m not convinced Kingsbury is any good. JFF did a lot for that offense after plays broke down and his scrambling ability had defenses playing contain.

The 2012 offense was absolutely stacked. JFF, Swope, Evans, and the tanks at O-line. They would have made just about any coach or OC look good…

Except Jimbo.

His offenses did put up a lot of points at Tech and he was pretty good at identifying good to great QBs.

Was he still calling plays there though or did he give up play calling like Holgorsen did once he was an HC at WVU? I know Elko's OC at Duke was KK's OC his final year at Tech and generally put up big numbers.

KK's undoing as an HC was that his teams never could stop anyone on defense. Some of that may have been due to KK's style of offense but it's not like Tech was ever going to be getting a ton of defensive studs either.
