It takes time to build a stable quality program. And Jimbo was on the correct path with his recruiting. Texas A&M shot themselves in the foot today Jimbo will move on to bigger and better things in the near future. His replacement will fail miserably.

Maybe. Maybe not.

But you’re talking about him like he’s a new coach—as if he hasn’t been given time.
You can’t put up the (mediocre) numbers he did (45-25; 7-12 in his last 19 games) and make the money he was and expect to keep your job.

Fisher will land somewhere, and A&M will go a different direction.
We aren’t the first team to fire a guy.
Onward.

He was a horrible hire, and that was a ridiculous contract.

He just needed another 5 years or so. He had them moving in a direction.

You can't be 11-11 over the last season and a half when making the kind of money he's making.

In fact 9-4, 8-5, 9-1, 8-4, 5-7, 6-4* isn't cutting it for the kind of money he's making.

He had every resource known to God handed to him on a silver platter and didn’t so much as sniff the expectations he was brought in to execute.

If he couldn’t do it with the top recruits in the country, the facilities had, and the unlimited salary, he never would. Time to move on.

Really? BK took over LSU with 39 scholarship players and with less than 70 scholarship players his first season won the west and on pace for another 10 win season with a shite defense he’s still trying to rebuild and Jimbo is in his 6th and hasn’t done crap outside of covid season and everyone gets an asterisk that season…if it hadn’t been for that huge contract he would have already been fired last season…

They are already haunted by hiring the SOB. Can't do worse by firing him.
