I did some hardcore talks with the family at lunch today. Here’s what we came up with:

This assume If Bama beats #1 UGA and Oregon Beats Washington

1. Big Ten Champ
2.FSU
3. Texas
4.Bama

Reasoning Bama would have the best win against #1 UGA and best Loss #3 Texas

Oregon best win against #5 Washington and Loss against the same #5 Washington

Thoughts?

I think this is our path is no one else loses. Hopefully Texas, Washington and FSU lose.

With the SEC having won the last 4 national championships in a row and the bulk of them in the past 15 years, and given the talent gap confirmed each year by the NFL draft, leaving out a 1 lose SEC CHAMP would be a sure way to lose all credibility and put a damper on the playoffs.

I think the committee will see that.
