He's not gonna win, but how the heck can you keep him out?
If he had struggled vs. Bama, I might could see the argument. But he's destroyed every defense he's faced minus second half FSU.

Pre-Oregon/USC, but who do you have instead?

FSU was a funky game for him. But maybe gets the benefit of the doubt because week 1. He’s been electric sense then and he really has played no role in the 2 other losses. Sucks for him

He should win tbh.

Just off-hand, do you understand what the requirements are to be considered for a Heisman trophy?
For instance, if the best QB to ever play the game, as Daniels likely is, were to belong to a team that had 8 loses, do you imagine that player would be eligible for a Heisman?
Hypotheticaly, let's say that Daniels has had 700 yards passing each game of the season combined with 5 TD's during each game, but still somehow had 8 losses or even 3 losses, is that player eligible for a Heisman?

it would be a shame if he doesn't win.

He should win it going away.

If he had struggled vs. Bama,
He had almost 400 yards total offense playing 3Q's with a QB ratings 158.3. He didn't struggle. Every other player on the LSU team did for that game.

I don't know why not, he is clearly the best player and has the best stats.
If not him, who?

He’s got a better shot at missing the ceremony than he does of winning it.

I’d rather see that USC QB win it for a second time than Daniels to win it at all. The fragile LSU fan base tears will be delicious.

I think he wins, who else? He’s playing better than Lamar when he won. Not to mention he’s an easy person to cheer for. I think the 85 yd run and the amount of FaceTime he was given on other games was the changing of the race. He’s easily the best qb in college since Burrow and if there was a defense he would have already been crowned. The announcers made a huge push tonight.

I think your assessment is wrong.

If he destroys Jimbo and the Ags I think he wins the trophy.

He should not only be there he should win. Who is better? Don’t say Penix or Nix.. not even close

At the very least he should be invited and should sweep the other QB and general offensive awards.
