I’ve been saying this for years. It’s based a lot in reality, IMO. Their propensity to use victimhood as a form of currency is why they’ll never get over the hump permanently.

It’s the same reason that estranged family member can’t stay clean or keep a job. They have convinced themselves that they are a victim. It’s not their fault if they lose. Someone else must be to blame. It’s a weak coping mechanism that neuters the entire culture. It raises a program of losers who expect to lose, because they think the world is stacked against them.

That’s what separates the Alabamas and Georgias from the LSUs and Tennessees.

One mindset is “we’re a victim!” And the other is “Nobody cares. Work harder.”
