I believe the majority of people (everyone except Bama fans) are upset because it was a dirty hit that eliminated the best player on the field from a known dirty player and he wasn't even ejected.

So what you're arguing is that Daniels should get special treatment because he's very good and that Turner should get special treatment because he pushed Dart's head into the ground last year? You're just detracting from the argument.

It was a TEXTBOOK tackle (why it wasn't called targeting) and shouldn't have even been called ROUGHING because if you watch the video (WITHOUT BIAS OF COURSE) you can actually see DT turn his body a little to the left to keep from absolutely pile driving Daniels into the turf. If his complete body had landed on Daniels, his ribs would have collapsed.
