I actually think golden is a really smart guy with high basketball iq and will be a good coach someday. He’s clearly just young and gets out foxed down the stretch by coaches like Tony Bennett, Scott drew, calipari ect.
They’ve at least stopped losing to bad teams even when they play like shite “east Carolina” and they are at least competitive with the big boys

I think that everyone’s frustration is really from the years of muschamp mac mike white this Napier guy and uaa incompetence and also doubling down on just being loathsome.

Golden is a bit green this job was given to him a bit early. Outside the 2000 team Donovan lost a lot of frustrating games exactly like this early on ppl just forget. That said we no longer have to settle for hitting on up and coming coaches yet that’s all they do and that’s why ppl are frustrated.

Most hae been huge busts but golden actually likely isn’t it’s just it’ll be another 5:6 years or so till he finally starts to figure out ebs and game flows the need for a real full press defense ect… In fairness to him he is much more competent than all the mike white Napier muschamps we hire it’s just we shouldn’t have to settle for this . We should be hiring Rick Pitinos
