Damn I never thought I'd be pulling so hard for Kirby to beat down Nic the rest of his days. And when he begged to come "Home" after testing the NFL waters : Guess what, you can't claim any NC's after he left LSU because they would have all been ours! Seriously though Saban Hates alabama with a passion!

Think so?

I would think deep down Saban is embarrassed to be associated with a bunch of rubes.

Yes, because the Champion was for the regular season, just like Oklahoma in 1950 when they lost in a bowl to Kentucky and Bear Bryant 13-7 and both finished 10-1. Just like Notre Dame who never played in bowl games until the late 60s. And Bama also was the only 11-0 team in 1966, having started the season #1 never losing a game and outscoring their opponents by 350 total points got shafted by Notre Dame who had a tie.
As per those 1925, 26, 30 and 34 teams, I have done some calculations on this way back, lets see if you still think these numbers do not show "worthiness".
Four National Title Seasons Combined Stats
40 Games = 39-0-1 tie in the Rose Bowl (7-7 Stanford)
Rose Bowls (3 wins and 1 tie)
27 Shutouts (LOL)
Combined scores = 1133 to 111
Average score per game = 28.325 to 2.775
So, those were not only worthy of National Titles, they were beasts, kicking booty and taking names.
As per 1941, I gladly count that because of the 1966 travesty. It all works out in the end. We could add in more, in 1977 Notre Dame jumped from 5 to 1 past Bama who beat Ohio State 36-6 in the bowl game, we beat Ole Miss easily, Notre Dames only loss was to Ole Miss.
Bama is just the class of the South, and the Nation in football. Learn to love it.

They are all legitimate. Lots of teams claim championships from the same years before the modern football era- back when champions were named before bowl games, and by a variety of polls.

More than your teams, I assure you of that.

Much of their success the last 17 years can be attributed to planned strategic targeting of star players to injure them. Considering how trashy their fanbase is, this isn’t surprising.

Throw out 1 or hell 2 if that will make you feel better. That will still leave more championships than your favorite program will ever reach if they play ball until Jesus comes back. Just get the frick over it.
