Maybe it's just because we've had wildebeests on the DL the last 2 years, but I don't recall TID really being much of a playmaker or difference maker. Early on in 2023 he was hurt and not playing and our DL has looked pretty up and down and inconsistent. But man he sure made an impact against UF. He didn't even really play all that many snaps but he damn sure made the most of them. I'm really excited to see how our DL performs from here on out with him out there.

Agreed. It seems like we were missing "disruptors", similar to Jalen Carter for the first half of the season.

And now these 2 guys jump off the screen with attitude

Maybe its just me though...

We forget how much DLine is contingent on having multiple difference makers. One force multiplier who can occupy (or beat) multiple guys makes it so much easier for everyone else. Having two of them on the inside makes blocking near impossible.

My point is since we aren't deep with talent and experience, we'll see production for everyone on the unit improve as younger contributors get their legs under them.

Right now, it looks like things are right on schedule.
