I disagree. We have done a good job overall. We put a lot of pressure on those guys because we focus on not giving up A and B gap. Sometimes we lose a play, but we have done a great job not giving anyone the dive and keeping stuff in front of us overall.

I agree. Don't allow A and B gap runs, then they are running horizontally and you get the sideline as an extra defender. If he's talking about the play I'm thinking about, Brooks broke down that play in the link I posted and rewatching in slo mo you can see the linebacker was in a lose-lose situation and did the right thing guarding the B gap and still ended up making a play outside after some yardage was given up. Sometimes it's just a good play design, it's not always that someone fricked up.
