Can’t remember the last time Kirby’s UGA has laid an egg against a ranked/decent opponent in Sanford. (Does South Carolina count?)

We took a lot of unnecessary risks in that game against South Carolina.

The 2 strategies are to play with the lead and rely on the defense.
Or play to the team strength and rely on the defense.

We tried to manufacture momentum/chances and it cost us a bad loss.
Not all risks work out okay.

I was talking about 2023 SC game but you’re right.

Since 2017 only:

Texas A&M 2019
South Carolina 2019
Mississippi St 2020
South Carolina 2023

Have kept the game under a 14 point deficit.

NO ONE, outside of Tennessee in 2016, has scored 30 on UGA in Sanford under Kirby. And obviously we know the heroics needed for UT to accomplish that … in Kirby’s first year.

coley is to balme for SC. It's a miracle we won as many games as we did in 2015 and 2019 considering the complete fricking morons that were calling plays.
