I looked on the Bama parking site and could not find the DCH lot.
Don’t mind a walk, particularly if it gets us out easily. Can you steer me in the right direction? Can I prepay and buy a pass now?

That's not a bad walk at all, especially if you don't mind a walk.
I'm not familiar with the boy scout lot, but this link has a dch lot:

and this is a lot that you can reserve a pass for that is by the baseball field and Moody music hall.

I always park at Central High School. Makes for a quick exit
