Vandy and barn both scored 20 and UAB scored 21, but uga is holding UF to 17? Ok.

Final will be about 34-17 uga and all the fire Billy guys will come back out

That's impressive, I don't care who you are.

Congrats Gators!

Prediction, they won't be shut out Saturday either.

I agree. Florida has a solid run game, and Mertz has done much better than many on here predicted.

Georgia's last regular season loss was Vs. Florida in 2020

Y'all started running those wheel routes, and for whatever reason we decided to sit back and watch. Kyle Pitts was killer, too, of course.

Georgia's defensive backfield will be completely healthy for this game, and may I add, for the very first time this season.

Mertz is going to have to deal with speed blitzes.

Meanwhile, both McConkey and Smith have now returned to full speed. Aaron Murray has made mention that he thinks that Georgia will throw more deep passes in this game.

Kirby said this week that Georgia is going to be very physical and aggressive. Georgia is good at wearing down a defense by the second half.

You must be new here.
Running backs do not have good days against UGA.

So the offense will either have to be designed around Mertz running. Or Mertz passing.
Are you expecting Mertz to get 300 yards on Saturday?

the only way that would apply is if UGA is shutout I guess? Something tells me that is almost certainly not going to happen.

IF the O-line gives him time, good QB with good receivers, run game may struggle so he will be chunking the rock.

Fair enough.
VU: 201 yards passing (219 total)
UK: 138 yards passing (183 total)
AU: 88 yards passing (307 total)
UAB: 250 yards passing (336 total)
Scar: 256 yards passing (309 total)
Ball St: 147 yards passing (224 total)
Ut-Martin: 128 yards passing (250 total)

That's b/c they'll trot the kicker out there down 35-0 to avoid a shut out

And a fair amount of those passing yards were given up by second and third string players later in the ballgames.

Kirby is very focused on player development and uses game rep footage as a coaching tool.

I don't know if that is 100% accurate except for the UAB game.

I agree, completely.

We work on us.
We rotate in a ton of depth (even before there are blowouts).
We spread the ball around.
We don't show "new stuff" in games when it isn't needed.
We don't manufacture pressure (stunts/blitzes) in games where they aren't needed.
