honestly last years dip is more surprising than this years bounce back.

it's really not when you consider he flipped most of the roster and this isn't anywhere close to the same team from last year, personnel wise.

well that's the trick, isn't it? if all this video scouting/pattern breaking didn't help teams like michigan and oklahoma disrupt their opponents execution, they wouldn't be doing it.

If we were stealing texsa's signals and still gave up 527 yards of offense, it's not really effective now is it?

Truth: texsa can't score in the RZ. texsa has had RZ issues all year. texsa also enjoys turning the ball over. Nobody is stealing texsa's signals.

Venables was called out by several coaches for it.

Ryan Day said this about Venables in 2020:

quote:

He seems to always know exactly what the other team is doing in terms of the plays that they’re running, each play. Seems to call the right defense into that play a lot. Why that is, I don’t really know. But I can tell you he’s been doing it for a really long time.

An anonymous ACC coach told Pete Thamel the following:

quote:

They are incredible at it. When you play them, it’s not an even playing field, they have so many [analysts] who are able to do that.

Another ACC coach told Thamel:

quote:

If they don’t have a plan for Clemson’s signal stealers, then Clemson is going to know every play. They should be in the KGB stealing communications, they’re that good.

Another coach:

quote:

The thing to me that they do best is that they do it year-to-year. They’ve developed a tradecraft and a systematic way to do it. And they are really, really good at it.

Then Miami OC, Rhett Lashlee, went public when asked about it in 2020:

quote:

Clemson is known well for doing it.

They don’t in the NFL.

Jesus. Have a little more faith in technology. It’s closed circuit.

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

NOTHING will come of this and nothing will happen to Michigan or anyone. Thr NCAA is powerless and a degenerative Enity. The Big 10 and SEC won’t do anything and NCAA has no Supena power. The Supreme Court has embarrassed the NCAA and exposed how unethical they are. NCAA can’t even crown it’s own college football champ and won’t exist much longer

Watch the first half of the cotton bowl, OU defenders were calling out our plays. Quinn’s first pick, the corner, linebacker, & safety sat on the route even though the threat of ADs Mitchells route of going vertical was there. We’ve only run that play one other time, against Bama, and it end up being a dumb off to the freshmen RB for 10 yards. We lost the game because our freshman DBs were lost in the sauce, but we definitely struggled mightily in the first half offensively before adjustments.

Can anyone explain how this shite works? I’m guessing one symbol is a formation and then first letter of one of the symbols is the play and then you have another guy who is giving hand signals that gives you a variation of that play.

Why not just go to mic in the QB’s helmet like the NFL? Guess they’d have to start huddling again.

When LSU played Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff, sources said the staff suspected Clemson of sending people to scout them in the SEC championship game and Peach Bowl. Brent Venables, then Clemson's defensive coordinator, has long been the focal point of sign-stealing speculation, according to multiple sources, though no one has publicly accused him of anything illegal. After LSU's first three offensive drives ended with three punts and one first down, sources said a frustrated coach Ed Orgeron told offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger, "Change it up." Upon changing signals, LSU scored touchdowns on five of its next six drives.

Well, everyone will have communication via the helmet next year so we will find out real quick who has been cheating

No more stealing for Venebles entering the SEC

Blah blah blah.

You're just mad that we're at 6 right now and ya'll have Notre Dame's coach.

Blah blah blah.

You're just mad because we out-physicaled you and didn't get called for holding on every single offensive play, as your bum fans allege every year.
