Question for Georgia fans.

My son and I will be attending the Mizzou-Georgia game.
I have no idea where to park (I'm old and can't walk miles and I know the stadium is on a hill) and how early we need to be there to get a parking spot?
Where should we eat?
I have no pre-conceived notion that we'll be able to win because we played you tough last year. But, I hope we can make it a good game.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Also, what part of town does JB need to park in to hear the least amount of barking?

I don't mind the barking. It's their thing. I just want to be able to make it to the stadium and home without having to call an ambulance.

Cute.
When you come to a Mizzou game be sure to park in Fulton.

Several parking decks have bus rides to stadium.
Only caveat is they typically don’t leave going back until after game is officially over.
Look at the UGA parking website game day parking for decks. A number of decks allow you to prepay..otherwise you run risk of it filling up.
Most lots anywhere near the stadium are paid or donor. Decks are your best bet.
My only trip to CoMo we (her fault) got there late and parked right next to stadium and just walked. Less than 5 min from park to seats. Had some horrible pizza after but enjoyed the bike trails.

When I'm parking with an older crowd, I stay on Baldwin St. It gets pricey. But there are good people, good distance, and about as good as you can do with regards to elevation.
Edit to add: a landmark is the Williams St lot or River Mill Apartments. I usually try to get into 475 Baldwin St

You'll want to buy a parking pass for one of the lots shown in the PDF below:
LINK
The visiting fans sit in the northern most corner of the stadium (closest to lot 7 on the map).
You can usually get a decent deal on parking passes on StubHub, Vividseats, etc
Based on my experiences, there will not be any place close to the stadium to just hand someone a $20 to park on their lawn.
For food, I would recommend South Kitchen or The Place.

I'm guessing you haven't been there lately. That little brick apartment building next to the old bling pig doesn't exist anymore. Definitely can't park there.

Some reason this game is currently a lot cheaper for tix than Ole Miss

The best spot for tailgating and exit of athens after the game is at the corner of Waterford Place and Nuci's coffee
Short walk to the stadium and quick exit on to the loop to get the hell out of town afterwards

Ole Miss with Kiffin at Night is a better draw

I write this in all seriousness:
There is nowhere you will be able to go on campus in which you won't walk up a hill. It is the embodiment of walking uphill both ways.
Here is a link with parking info:

Your best bet will be to park in the East Deck or Intramural Fields and catch a shuttle.

Pretty sure our CBS slot opportunities will be exhausted and puts us in the 7-8pm ESPN by that point in the season

I have always had success parking in the parking deck by Stegman when I don't have a friend's parking pass. It's usually $20. Get there early though, since it will be a great matchup.

Dude, I've been going to games there for 20 years now and I've only seen two frat boys from UGA fight each other. I've taken rival fans to games and they never have a hard time. You and your son will be fine.

with this being the last year I don't know if that actually matters.
I would be willing to bet almost anything that one of the OM or UT games will be on CBS, even though they've supposedly already met the quote with the Missouri game.

I think he was referencing lots of walking up hills...

Thanks. Last time I parked there was 2021.
Is Williams St lot still open to public?
It has been probably 15 years, but Mitchell St had some grass lots for a reasonable price. Just next to where Blind Pig used to be.
