1. We have a qb that is below average at everything a qb should be able to do, except throw the ball far.

2. The freshmen on our o-line look like freshmen.

3. We have a qb that does everything humanly possible to make the flaws of the o-line as big a problem as possible.

4. The coaches, like me, apparently thought one of the other QB's would eventually win the job. Now they're scrambling to put together an offense that that can be run by a qb who can't do anything qb related.

5. Because the o-line let's rushers through like a revolving door, the coaches are afraid to play the talented young rb's, so we're stuck with older "solid" guys who sometimes help block a little.

6. It's a mystery.

Alabama wins that game with 1 of their top 2 receivers.

If LSU loses next weekend, I hope Alabama fans don't mind me using the excuse that LSU is missing their top 4 cornerbacks and a starting captain at safety.

And potentially the right tackle.

I won’t mind. Throw in a dash of muh refs also, if you will.

Maybe quote the whole post next time where I said “Alabama’s injuries aren’t Georgia’s problem.”

That's not an excuse, DBU.

Alabama fans are still making excuses for their failure from two years prior? Man, that's pathetic.

Georgia fans whined about a 'Bama false start wiping out their blocked punt as one of many bitch excuses for their 2017 choke job. It's okay to try and rewrite history and pretend it never happened.

I brought this up a few times to Georgia fans but their memory turns foggy when I do

You never cease to amaze at how fricking desperate & stupid you are.

Why is BAMA's o-line in shambles?

Your answer: Kirby left!!!

Let's be honest, you'll blame the refs. Like you have for the past fifteen years.

But as it was, the game meant absolutely nothing for UGA's national championship hopes,

That’s not entirely true. Their chances would have improved had they knocked Bama out before the playoffs. I guarantee Kirby wanted that game and not having to deal with Bama again in the playoffs.

You answered your own question.

Sack yardage is bringing down the rushing offense

So you are really one of the top rushing teams in the country if not for the sacks?

It turns out that slow, fat and stupid is no way for an offensive line to go through life.

I don't have the stats with sacks deleted...I'm sure some state wonk is doing that somewhere...but I imagine that Alabama is probably much better comparatively without sacks because their sack problem is so bad.

The pass protection problems are hurting the run in more ways than one. Can't get the greener but more dynamic backs on the field because pass protection help is at such a premium. The two veterans are not quite the backs they were projecting to be before major ligament injuries in 2021.

With the said, Jase McClellan is averaging 4.7; Roydell Williams, 5.1, Justice Haynes, 6.2; Jam Miller 4.2. Milroe has 77 "carries" (probably 30 of them are sacks) for 1.8 ypc.

Million dollar question right there. Just guessing the OL Coach is in his last season with Saban. Without a miracle turnaround in the remaining games.
