I know this is all about Griffin, but I had to point out that Laettner spent 13 season in the NBA, most of it as a starter. Averaged double figures and made an all star game. Made over $61M too. Obviously that is nothing compared to today’s players but that wasn’t chump change in the 90s.
He wasn’t a star player but “didn’t do shite in the NBA” is not accurate.

I am not sure anyone of our current starters is NBA material. Nelson could be but has to be more consistent with his outside shot. He needs another year at the college level to develop and put on some much needed muscle.
