Maybe being an underdog Thursday will be what we need to get over the hump

Dont forgwt the pick and roll where Pringle knocked the GCU guy on his arse and then jammed one through the rim as hard as he could. I think it was close to the end of the first half.

They play sent a message. The message was that Nick Pringle was not fricking around tonight.

GCU hadnt seen many guys like Pringle.

One of the most horribly refereed games I’ve ever seen. GCU was fouling the crap out of our guys and pretty much the entire game.

They were comically bad for both teams.

If how they performed tonight is representative of their normal effort, they have no business calling D1 games at all, much less games in the tournament.

Pringle was great tonight. Dude is at his best when he’s playing on the edge of reckless. Just how he is.

Someone else said this but Pringle played with a “Crazy Tony” vibe. It was exactly the edge we needed. Last year in a similar game against SDSU, we didn’t push back when they were tossing us around. Tonight we did.

His injuries have hurt us badly. If he had stayed healthy we could have won more games including the SEC Championship. I hope he is completely healthy against UNC and lasts the whole game.
Don’t think we can beat them without him being at his best.

No they were comically bad for one team (Bama).

Grant-Foster is a tremendous athlete but he fouled three times in the first half and these were badly missed calls.

They were all no calls.

Also I would like to give a shout out to a couple of players.
Sam Walters played some of the best individual defense on Grant-Foster I've seen all year. He struggled against Sam just like he struggled against Rylan Griffen.

Mo Dioubate had two huge blocks that aren't even being talked about much on here and I can't understand why because the last block changed the momentum. I actually thought the guy had made the dunk lol.

Rylan Griffen had his best defensive performance since last seasons Auburn game vs Wendell. He had Grant-Foster in absolute HELL when he was guarding him.

Mark Sears is a DAWG enough said.

Nick Pringle showcased his physicality and his explosive leaping ability and some impressive clutch free throw ability...stop playing with him!

Just proud of how far these guys have come... people need to understand that this team did a complete 180 on the defensive end.

It was the lowest opposing team total we had since January when they held South Carolina to 46.

That was one of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen at any level.

Not biased, bad.

Inconsistent, allowed players to get hurt low with no calls in the paint, broke the flow of the game, turned it into a free throw contest on the perimeter with with tight hand check calls.

Whoever put that crew on a tournament game needs to answer for it.

What has changed a lot about Pringle is that there has been less bonehead play.

It was not called down the middle..it was like a Grand Canyon home game. That crew doesn't need to call another tournament game. They let the Lopes make a rugby match out of it and frankly lost control of the thing.

Their idea of defense is they won't call everything because we have the home crowd, and they were right. Had they shot a decent percentage at the line, we get hosed.

There’s no virtual about it, their starting lineup makes more than an NBA DL team that’s why they’re still there at 25.

if Nelson would do anything, it would help. If he could make a 1 foot shot it would help. Get a rebound it would help.
