I have seen 100s of times in my life the up man signal to the receiver to not take the ball out by making the T signal (which the Tennessee guy didn’t even do)and the returner ignores him and runs it out. Never have I seen an official say that counts as an invalid fair catch signal until yesterday

Again, the fair catch rule was only put in for kickoffs in 2018, so enough of this "never in my life" bullshite. It just makes you sound like an idiot.
And again, if you had the intelligence to actually read the rulebook, you would see that any reference to "the T signal" isn't even in there. Or a Y symbol, or an X symbol, or any other letter of the alphabet. It defines what a legal signal is. Period. The other guy clearly made a signal with his arms, and only a fricking idiot would try to make an argument out of whether or not he made a perfect T or whether or not he waved his arms.
