It was all over the 247 board a few days back. I think it got deleted.

Enos shouldn't be here if he doesn't believe in being here and moving the program forward, then. An assistant that's never called plays before but is looking for his big break deserves to have the chance over that mess.

And I fully believe that we should go ahead and see what Criswell and Singleton can do - why not at this point? Pittman would almost be dumb not to give it a shot right now as a dead man walking - if either one look good it'll give him a slightly longer leash for potentially coaching another year and give that QB confidence going into their tenure as the next starter. Really nothing to lose by giving it a shot.

It's a tough decision to bench your multi-year starter QB that has most of the NIL money coming his way, as well as letting your recent OC hire go in the middle of the season... But this is what needs to happen for the future of the program no matter what.

There's a slim chance it might actually save Pittman's job at this point, but if it doesn't then at least he's done the honorable thing in helping to prepare for the future on his way out. He'd be looked at much more favorably historically if he sacrificed these last few games to set up the program going forward with or without him by making these cold blooded, but necessary moves.

In my dream scenario he sends Enos packing, starts Criswell or Singleton from here on out, and the offense is run under very basic playcalling from an assistant but plays with their hair on fire for their new leader(s) and doesn't look completely lost and inept. We probably still lose out other than FIU, but the QB between the two has confidence going into next year and we get a whole new offensive coaching staff - either with a new HC or Pittman getting another shot.
