was it the best coaching performance of all time? The man won 9 games 2 years in a row. At Vanderbilt.

And completely destroyed them when he left. The coach before him (Johnson? too lazy to look) did a great X's and O's job with them. I thought he was a very underrated coach

He had the highest winning percentage there since 1948 and has 2/3 of their ranked seasons

it probably is the greatest coaching job ever.

I dont think Penn State is the powerhouse they think they are imagine Franklin at Alabama.

Somebody in a thread earlier this week said Vandy and a couple of other schools were “death jobs” and we didn’t need them in the SEC. I replied that Franklin rode that Vandy job to Penn State, currently undefeated and ranked #7. I don’t like the guy personally but he can recruit and coach.

Not and huge fan of Franklin but hope he finally beats Ohio State tomorrow
