The Auburn fan has been mighty quiet this year.

We’re quiet because our team is not good and it’s probably the least talented roster we’ve had since the lat 1970s.

The only hope I have going into this weekend is the fact that Ole Miss almost never beats Auburn inside Jordan-Hare. Auburn is 17-3 all-time against the Rebs at home and some of those wins were by equally bad Auburn teams.

The 3 Auburn teams who lost to Ole Miss at home (1999, 2003, and 2015) all had either 5 or 6 losses and still managed to only lose by 4, 7, and 8 points.

Do I expect a win this weekend? Not exactly. Would I be surprised with a win? Not in the least.

That one hurt. Obomanu dropping that winning TD pass in the end zone.

Poor Ben Obomanu. One our best all time receivers but he dropped a TD pass that hit him right in the hands to win that ‘03 game
