Tua was still gimpy after 11 days.

QBs rely heavily on their ankles. Throwing a football is a precision activity and slight discomfort can alter the motion/accuracy.

It also hampered mobility.

Tua's ankle hampered his mobility so much that he got beat up trying to escape the pocket and he injured his hip knocking him out of the rest of the season.

But some people think that a QBs ankle isn't a big deal.
