probably easier to come back quicker as a QB with that procedure than a tight end

Yeah
QBs don't use their lower half.

They don't use their lower half as much as a tight end. They aren't going to be affected as much by a sprained ankle as a tight end in terms of their ability to still be productive. This isn't a hot take or controversial. But I'm sure you'll want to argue this point incessantly

Just so everyone's clear.

You think blocking Dlinemen, LB's, running routes, making cuts and fighting through tackles is somehow equal to a QB dropping back and throwing the ball?

Are you actually insinuating it takes more effort with your lower half to throw a football than to line up and block a DL or LB. Might want to rethink that brilliant take.
