and I have a different idea for the SEC Championship.. instead of 1 game with the champions from each division, give the champions a bye and play 2 games instead of 1
D1 2nd place vs D2 3rd place
D2 2nd place vs D1 3rd place
That leaves a top 4 teams for the playoffs to choose from.
2 division champs + 2 playin game winners
So the goal each year is to finish in the top 3 of your 10 team division. Makes the regular season even better imo.
eta: or make it a 3 game weekend and let the champs play to see who earns the bye for the playoffs..
SEC 4 teams
B1G 4 teams
1 Big 12
1 G5
2 Wildcards
Idk the exact format, but something like this could be really good for the game imo.

Sorry, but the SECCG teams would already be decided:
Y1/4 - AB winner vrs. CD winner
Y2/5 - AC winner vrs. BD winner
Y3/6 - AD winner vrs. BC winner
No need for a playoff to go to ANOTHER playoff.
