Last I checked at its core this is a SEC trash talk board. Are you trying to endear yourself to a bunch of random dudes on the internet and serve as a community relations representative for all Georgia football fans or some shite???

The top 2 teams in the SEC were both in the East last year.
The East was pretty weak in 2021. I will agree with that.

LSU fans right now preoccupied with telling everybody that Jayden Daniels should win the Heisman Trophy in order to salvage an otherwise shitty and forgettable season.

Georgia fans right now preoccupied with breaking this all-time SEC winning streak and getting this third straight national championship.

Being an LSU fan sounds depressing right now.

Maybe you missed the thread, but take the stats I presented and compare them to Bama's last 2 National Championship seasons as far as all of the ranked teams they played in those 2 seasons and tell me how easy our path was to the natties.

While we're on the topic, please explain to me why it makes a difference between playing a ranked team in the 'regular' season, vs 'playoff or championships'. Uh, I realize it's a bigger stage and all, but isn't a game, a game? If you beat a ranked team in the regular season or in the playoffs, you win either way, right?

That is BuckNuts / MeatChicken type thinking man.

Play nobody during the season so yogurt to the CFP with team uninjured then get smacked down by an SEC team when it matters. Are you new to college football?

We played 7 ranked teams in 2022, same as 2019 LSU.

Chicken has been whining about UGA’s schedule all week, but has no numbers to back it up.

With the exception of this year, our non-conference scheduled SOS has rated considerably tougher than LSU’s for 6 years straight.

As for overall SOS, LSU has only finished higher once since 2017

Name one other SEC team who schedules 2-3 Power 5 non-conference teams each year. You can’t.

this is such a lazy, weak copout. Every division every year is going to have weakness. Funny that during the 90s when UGA was mediocre at best with several losing seasons and UK/SC/Vandy were all absolute bottom dwellers, nobody ever mentioned the east being "weak" when UF and UT were pummelling everyone. Even if the middle/bottom of the division were decent it still wouldn't really matter because UF and UT were nationally elite and simply really, really fricking good in their own right.

Fast forward to now and UGA is the king of CFB as evidenced by their 4-0 record in the last 2 playoffs, yet all detractors want to talk about is "the east is down". I mean it's not like we haven't also beat up on the west the last 2 years too ya know...

your schedule has been fairly weak the last year and a half.

Just so we’re clear, are we also saying that last years schedule, which featured Oregon OOC was also weak? If so, does the SEC just suck as a whole, resulting in UGA having a bad schedule by default?

This week is actually a great example. If LSU had beaten an undefeated UK team that just blasted Florida, you know all the SECW middling fans would be calling that a big, quality win. Because UGA blows them out, it’s discounted.

The same thing happened with the Oregon game last year. UGA would have gotten more credit if they’d won 35-24 than they did by winning 49-3.
