Sitting here with a friend, granted he was a Division 3 positional coach not an OC but he pointed out a few things us mere mortals may not see.

1st. He suspects something is not quite right about Burden. Slight drag to his shoulder/arm and slight limp. Maybe accumulated hits.

2nd. No way was Burden supposed to be the target of those short passes. Burden drew double coverage to that side intentionally. Cooks check downs were downfield not a double covered Burden lateral.

3rd. Stephen's 1st 4th quarter drop was on him. The second wasn't his fault. He was clearing the middle, which is why he was dismayed with Brady throwing him the ball.

4th. Moore had their defense dialed in evidenced by the ease of scoring when attacking the intermediate middle. My friend here doesn't believe Moore changed his approach, as much as Cook went off script.

5th. Something is wrong with Cook. His velocity is shot to hell. In baseball we call it "dead arm." Cook is throwing spirals that are still floaters.

I amazed at the stuff he sees, thought I would share with Y'all. BTW...I talked to Kul on LinkedIn, he was at the game.

Was at the Vandy game and watching them warm-up ... this is a solid assessment. Horn would step, flick his wrist and the ball came out on a line and went 40 yards while Cook was throwing floaters even after crow-hopping to get the ball to travel 30 yards ...

When Horn transfers to LSU (or another SEC baseball school) and beats our defense senseless, we can thank Harry Potter for his inability to develop more than one QB at a time ...

I haven’t noticed a lack of velocity from a Labrum or Rotator Cuff injury. I do see him wince occasionally and move his shoulder up and down. His velocity is still much better than last year.

A successful SLAP surgery takes a minimum of 6 to 8 months to be completely healed. He was at the Manning camp in June and probably not taking it easy. If he wanted to make sure he was fully healed he should have taken at least 6 months of rehab and waited around 7 months to go all out. He was probably in a hurry to get back so he didn’t lose his job to Horn.

My cousin’s kid tore his Labrum in 17 or 18 water skiing. After his surgery and rehab he still has trouble lifting things over his head without pain and i think he’s 24 years old.

Injury or not Cook is not a P5 QB. A lot of people have got on the Cook bandwagon, but the receivers are what has made him look good. The TD pass to Wease was pretty nice

Every player is a little banged up especially skilled players that get hit a lot.
