I think he figured LSU would make adjustments to stop the chunk plays so the short passes would be open. Problem is you return to last year's offense, you get last years Brady Cook. He's much more confident in rhythm attacking with intermediate to long throws.

Play calling in the 2nd half cost the game. Moore won't make that mistake again.

Do you understand some quarterbacks have a limit to what they can do? He was never a D1 quarterback to begin with. He is getting better but there is a reason 4* and 5* are much better and can do well against team with a good defense.
That last interception was underthrown, and he should have thrown the ball higher up and the receiver had to stop and turn. There is a reason Brady is a 3* quarterback.

LSU did make adjustments on offense and defense. They played more constant Zone in the second half. he didn't feel as if he could get into the situation to take a shot down field. if our D would have stopped them in the second half he may have. If Mevis makes the 44 yard field goal it is a different game.
