The only guy I ever remember who even remotely ran over people like Herschel was Earl Campbell.
So if the metric is "simply ran over people, didn't need blockers" then the list is first Herschel and second Earl.

I'll let Jerry Rice know. Never knew he was an Auburn fan though.
