I’m sure if Kirby didn’t like it he wouldn’t allow it

It is my understanding that he wants them to call him Kirby

How many times have you heard the term Coach Kirby or Coach Smart from anyone? Everyone refers to him as Kirby.

CFB is now a business. The people they interact with are no longer mentors to be looked up to. They are now colleagues.

It sucks and I don't like it but thems is the breaks...

1) Smart wants them to call him Kirby.
2) See #1
3) Beck can call Kirby anything he wants at this point as
long as it's not disrespectful. I think he's earned
that.

To me referring to Deion Sanders as "Coach Prime" is a more telling sign of the times.
