The big 12 was told by lawyers thier iron clad deal wasn’t so iron clad and they may need to show good faith in rivisng exit fees. ACC now probably feels like the have some issues like that as well but the year difference was 1-2 years in big 12 compared to 9-10 in acc I don’t know how they get out unscathed.

If I recall correctly, TX and OK only had a couple years on their contract with their conference so it was easy enough to eat it and go. But I think the ACC GOR is still 10+ years. That's not eatable.

I see adding Clemson and FSU as nothing but positive. Two marquee home games and road trips, geographic and cultural fits. Let the Big Ten stretch itself all over the country and lose its identity while we get stronger without sacrificing anything.
