Well, lemme put it this way ... you sheep humping sister banging taterheads will never be members of the SEC. Ray Tanner may have objected, which is a formality, but he didn't have to object much in order to be told by the shithooks in BHam that it ain't gonna happen.
I'm the opposite of skeered, I'm giddy. Watching you sheep humping sister bangers get your hopes up again is very satisfying to me ... it's like slow torture for you people and it always ends in major disappointment for you people. Happens every five years or so and it is always fun for us Gamecocks. Been happening for thirty years.

Clemson vs X-teams for 6-7 home games does not add a total of 60 million a year to the TV contract. That's what needs to get added for teams in the SEC to break even when you include what teams make now and the conference share.
Good matchups leading to a bigger TV deal is an idea... but the network is only getting 6-7 more games per team added, and those games have to bring in a LOT of money for the current SEC teams to break even. I don't think a small school in the upstate of South Carolina, regardless of recent success, is going to make networks pay enough to be worth adding them.

Dabo may be stupid enough to want in but its doubtful. Clemson would be in the lower third of the SEC most years and at its best would not be in the top third. Auburn with a lake's recent success was based on very weak schedules and being healthy in the CFP. That ain't going to be the case if they are an SEC team...gotta be talented and deep to be competitive at the top of the SEC...talented is not enough, gotta be 3 deep at least.

Here’s the thing though: both respective conferences get the majority of SC eyeballs if their teams play different time slots. The SC fans watch wanting Clemson to lose and vice versa.

South Carolina sucks and so does Kentucky for that matter. Clemson has more viewership that both schools combined.
