Could be wrong but Pretty sure Bill Snyder was a huge hardass behind the scenes.

Dabo had a generational QB and a slush fund. He’s exposed now without sunshine and an advantage.

Snyder was a hard arse but he cared about his players.

People confuse being a hard arse and an a-hole as one in the same.
