Arkansas doesn't have that type of culture.
Bama does because the average fan is a lunatic and the most extreme is a Harvey Updyke.
They shoot at each other when they lose. That doesn't happen in Arkansas because it is just a game. But if you say that in Alabama, you could end up dead
I know from experience and relatives who are hog fans that have lived in Alabama.
Football is a big deal in Arkansas but is it a religion in Alabama.

Roll back to 2012, the Petrino firing. Does anyone think Urban Meyer DIDN'T hire personal skanks to work in the athletic department? If you believe he didn't then you are simply naive. It absolutely happened and it was "handled" by the Florida program.
The state sports "journalists" took the opportunity to virtue signal about how wholesome the program is and wanted Petrino gone. That turned out magnificently. Do you want to be "wholesome" or do you want to win? Apparently, I'm in the minority.
Similar happening this week, sports "journalists" decided they wanted to virtue signal about social media to cover for Pittman, Jake called them out and the journos retaliated. That's why this thread was created, OP was told by our soft AF sports "journalists" that Jake was a meanie and the fanbase is eating it up.
I will take the opinion of a former player that played during the brief period the program was relevant over the opinions of our useless "sports journalists".

As an Alabama resident I can truly say that most if not all their fans DGAF about Arkansas football.
With the recent developments over the last few days we're truly a laughing stock at the local watering holes.
