I’d say we are pretty good. Offense has taken a big step forward, defense has taken a small step back. We are getting some injuries piling up on that side of the ball too. We are elite on 1st and 2nd down. Not very good on 3rd.

I’d say 8-4 right now, but could get to double digit wins if they can fix third down

How don't know but expect 16 penalties for 150 yards, two shitty punts, a turnover on downs and zero timeouts in the fourth quarter.

Outside of Spencer Rattler and Xavier Legette, this team is hot garbage.

We, as expected, have another year and most likely two to put a SEC caliber team on the field.

Auburn could be solid with a good portal QB next year.

Disappointed but not unexpected. It will take a couple years to recover from Harsin.

Plus the last couple of years from Gus.
We have NO OFFENSIVE LINEMEN capable of starting from 2018-present that were brought in by either from HS.
Until that is fixed anything else on offense is going to struggle.
One short offseason of scrounging transfers is not the solution. It was the only choice he had.

Hot garbage. 5-7 is likely the best case scenario with our awful offense.

Last year was a fun & exciting team to watch, this team is right the opposite. I find them very frustrating to watch. We kind of look soft, we lack any intensity. Missed tackles everywhere, our offense is holding back playing too conservative & predictable. I hope we improve quickly because that 4 game stretch is going to be a tough one.

Judkins is a shell of his former self.
O Line is Swiss cheese.
Tons of weapons in the passing game on paper but all of them have been banged up so who knows.
Dart is solid and has balls of steel
Defense is surprisingly the most coherent unit but they will give up 1 or 2 explosive TD’s every game.

Honestly the entire SEC is hot garbage this season. We have all been humbled.

I don't know if we get to 8-5. My optimism is based only in that everybody's O-line I've watched in the SEC is dogshit. Alabama can have off days on the O-line, but they shouldn't be having off weeks. When the LSU O-line is on par with that level of mediocrity, I'm worried.

Oh, and the secondary. Arkansas has been hard for us to beat for decades, even when we should severely overmatch them. We're so bad at covering motion, I'm worried about Army being close. That's not good. I think we'll beat Georgia State.

We let LSU off the hook. False start at the one and KJ missed an easy pass.

I hate moral victories but it's the first time I've seen any grit from this team.

BYU soured our season. A weird arse loss.

I'll honestly assess every team...

My favorite team has won the last two national championships. They also started this season ranked number 1 in the country and have remained there right up to this very moment.

#1 - Georgia
#2-#130 - dawg food

...too bad downvotes can't help y'all with that.

I think we finish 9–3 . Defense has too many flaws . Offense will be at the top of the conference though .

Oklahoma will be playing for a Big 12 championship . Defense is elite they are so much better now that we have depth and good depth . We are alittle dinged up missing several starters and still playing lights out .

Offensively we are elite at wr imo … running game has been average to below average … they are still trying to figure out how to run block I guess lol… super frustrating . If they can get the run game going then OU is going to be an elite team.

Right now no one can score on us and it’s been pretty consistent . We won’t play an elite offense till the Texas game but I don’t think it would even change my perception of the defense because they are super fast and have loads of players playing great . Win or lose vs Texas if we beat TCU we are probably going to play again for a trip to playoffs . Long ways away but I love this teams fight . Biggest concerns are the OC calling so many run plus up the middle … this may be by design till the Texas game? Sure am hoping so.

Those are at least some rather exceptional exceptions.

Our tackling on defense is keeping it from being as good as last year, but tackling also took time to improve last year.

I also don't think our defense has shown a whole lot on tape complicated wise

Offense they have started to show the new pass game and it's much improved, haven't seen much new in the run game but I bet it's there.

We definitely look like a better team than last year and last year we were almost 9 wins

LSU’s offense can beat anybody and LSU’s secondary can get beat by anybody.

Enough players have put bits and pieces of complete performances together to think that everything—including a national title—is still possible. But this team still has a long road to travel to get there, with very little margin for error.

I would like to make more specific predictions, but we still don’t know what we have in the secondary, and I don’t think our conference opponents know what they have either. I was concerned about Arkansas keeping it close and having a shot at the upset, and I hold similar concerns about everyone except Auburn (and who knows by then?).
