One of them was to Tuscaloosa. What’s the toughest road game Oklahoma has? Kansas?

We gave ourselves a favorable schedule for our last Big 12 season.

Already left once this year. How did that turn out for them?

Hey now, my beloved Horns have to travel to Iowa State. You must recognize what a burden it is for any human to have to endure such an intense journey.

The Donner Party would cower in fear of such an arduous task.

It’s a nice quirk in the schedule this year. We’ll see if this team can avoid laying the usual egg or three.

That’s just the way it is. They still have to play the games. Any given day things can happen.

What does leaving the state have to do with it? You think they are maybe too broke to pay for the trip? Not sure where you are coming from. Do you get nervous when you leave the state of Oklahoma? Most people would probably be excited to leave Oklahoma. It looks like an invasion on I-35 and I-75 when y'all come to Dallas. Everyone seems pretty happy.

Who doesn't love a road trip, be it in state or out?

So, are you implying that UT (and OU) won't be able to hack it in the vaunted SEC? It's obvious I'm no Texas fan, but didn't the whorns do alright for themselves in their only trip into SEC territory this season?

My apologies if I misunderstood your point.

No Texas will be fine. He was implying it about just Oklahoma.

It’s easier to get to Atlanta than Lubbock. And, every kid at TCU wants to be a world beater because we didn’t recruit them out of HS.

This is certainly not unusual. Same thing pretty much every year occurred during the Big XII years. And in the SWC years... if they didn't go to Arkansas...they played all their games in Texas.

While I think the whole "SEC crowd" thing is overblown...

It will nice to see Texas play away games where half the fans aren't Texas fans. Historically, any time another Texas based team was down, and they hosted Texas...the crowd was at least 50% Longhorn fans. That won't be the case in the SEC.

Look at OU's schedule before casting any stones. Of course Oklahoma has to leave your state more times, it's pretty small. Dumb post

First of all, isn’t there a Big 12 board you can post this bullshite on?

Second of all, it’ll take probably less than a decade for the Whorns to impose their will on the SEC to be able to do similar things. We’re all collectively letting in a Trojan horse. When we look back at what happened to the conference years and years down the road, the first shots fired will be the day we agreed to admit them.

texsa didn't impose any will to get the schedule they have this year for frick sake. They played in Manhatten, Lawrence and Stoolwater last year so that's just how it fell this season. Half of the teams in the BIG XII are located in that state so no it's not interesting or noteworthy.

We're here whether you like it or not, sunshine LOL. At least you have something interesting to talk about considering how the SEC has been playing.

I can send you an OU bumper sticker for your swamp wagon if you want some blue blood football history swag to brag to your friends about. Let me know. No charge.
