The larger concern here is that we apparently have done a poor job developing or recruiting well rounded edge players, at least relative to a few years ago.

Maybe the lack of production is downstream of not having great interior DLs? Seems like all the linebackers (even Mykel Williams) were able to do more with JC or JD in the middle.
