Am I just biased because he's white and also because he doesn't look like a real outside linebacker, or is Chaz Chambliss pretty useless as a pass rusher?

How we went from Jermaine Johnson and Adam Anderson and Nolan Smith to Chaz Chambliss is sort of concerning. Our pass rush at outside linebacker may or may not end up holding us back from where we want to go this year.

All that tells me is that all the young guys behidn him must REALLY be lost in the playbook.

Him, david daniel, dan jackson, etc are all such incredible downgrades from the starters and it's hurting us.

Would have saw Marvin Jones more but he was banged up.

So from Stetson to Bobo to Beck to Chambliss. Who is the next player we can complain about. Surely there's someone on deck. SMH. Just don't have it in us to enjoy the moment. Every year there's starters that aren't as good an the previous year or the year prior to that, and yet the rest of the team as a whole remains as strong or stronger. We're always focused on the ONE who doesn't meet our expectations....until they do then it's off to the next perceived weak link. I used to stand in awe of some of the Bama fans and wonder how in the peak of their dynasty could their fans have such a microscopic, tunnel view and miss the epic wonder of what was taking place. I still have no answers to that as I see it occur in our own fan base.

I had high hopes for him this year. He made some beast plays last year. He shows flashes of greatness and also get his arse whipped.
I reckon he is at his ceiling

Being an edge player is hard, reading and reacting takes knowledge and quickeness to elite at the position. But the front 7 was definitely the weakest link of the 2023 season

From Brent Rollings at UGAsports.com: No #UGA Front 7 player had at least an 80.0 PFF grade

(Warren Brinson at 76.0 the closest)

Significant because that's the 1st time that's happened at Georgia in the 10 years PFF has been grading college games.

UGA is not in the playoff because bad bounces/calls, key injuries at multiple positions, and (especially) less than stellar play at key moments.

Why is everyone acting like we're facing a 3 year rebuild?

Georgia has recruited better than anyone in the country and there isplenty of quality depth and young talent on this team. We're not going to be at a disadvantage vs anyone in the country, and even with the tougher schedule, things line up pretty well next year.
